I don't want to sound like I am anti Mickelson but why is he the only one getting Hype for what he is doing for the Katrina Relief. What he is doing is truly a good thing and god will repay him for that, however David Toms has done much more and has affected many more people in Louisiana. He paid for all of the costs for donations to his foundation and matched them. The entire PGA has done a lot but one person shouldn't be getting all of the publicity. Tom's doesn't want people to know every thing he has done, but what about Phil sticking for someone who has done so much. This is just my 2 cents. I can handle all of the Phil Hater comments. But I just want to support DT. beach.gif

The people whose lives David Toms, Kelly Gibson, and Phil Mickelson have helped all know and are greatful I'm sure.

I really doubt any of them really want any more attention for their charitable contributions. I'm sure they'd much rather talk about how they're playing this week.

You can chalk the attention to dollar figures up to the wonderful people in the press . . . they decide what to report and who to focus on. I'm not Phil's biggest fan, but he's just answering the questions he's asked.

Exactly. Very well said. I'm a big fan of DT, and what he's done has made me have an even greater respect for him. But at the end of the day I'm sure he doesn't really want any attention because of what he donated and how he helped.
