Let' s officially get some dates for possible event in Chattanooga. Ari has gratiously agreed to host.
I will throw out Oct 17th for consideration. Once we get a date established, we can discuss details and format.

I'm fine with October 17th since that is an off week for the UT Vols. Next issue is where to play. My guess is that if Ari is going to want us to see his shop then is Chattanooga a good starting point for a course? I have only played one course there and it's been well over 10 years ago. So, I don't know what is available in the Chattanooga area. I know that there are numerous good courses in the Crossville area that can be considered if needed.

From someone who has put on two of these events this year you guys really need to make it happen. These events are such a blast. Even if its normally out of your price range try your hardest to save the extra coin. Some great times have been had by us here is Az and met tons of great guys through it.

Sorry for the delay in my response.
My wife gave birth to our first child last week, a healthy happy baby boy we named Milo.
I talked to my club more today and 10/17 will work for the outing. The cost will be $92 per person including range balls, Scratch demo day and a cart.
If we wanted to do it on a Wednesday we have a special guest rate and the cost would only be $52 per person.
What do you guys think? I am up for either (or both).

Congrats on the baby boy.
It would be difficult for me to make it on a Wednesday. 10/17 works perfectly for me. I'm assuming you are talking about the Lookout Mountain course?
Saturday the 17th is fine with me. We are going to be playing Lookout Mountain Golf Club which is a fantastic old private 1925 Seth Raynor course. Its a spectacular course and a real treat for anyone who is into old school golf course architecture.

I dont think everyone wants to foot the bill for The Honors. I personally think Lookout Mtn is a better course anyways. Unless you like Pete Dye modern over Seth Raynor classic I think most would likely agree.

OK, so we will schedule this for the 17th. Ari will give us a tour of the shop to see where the Tour Dept magic happens and then off to the course to let everyone demo some clubs before we play. For those of you that have been on the fence about getting some wedges, do not pass up this chance to get fitted properly by the best.
