The course that I play just started to allow coolers and was wondering what size of cooler is a good fit in the carts that you ride in ? I'm lookin for a hard cooler because the soft ones dont keep ice for very long

The ones that are in between carrying lunch and having a picnic are a perfect size for the basket. I don't know an exact model off hand, since my friend is the one with it. I use a freebie soft lunch cooler that holds a 6 pack and a little ice, since that's all I'll ever drink out there. Don't usually have a problem with ice all melting either.

Callaway makes a cooler designed for golf carts.

Search Google shopping for Golf Cooler.

This one fits nicely in the basket of a cart and keeps beverages cold for the entire round. My buddy has one and we put water and soda in it and then fill it with ice. When the ice starts melting, the beverages just sit there in the ice cold water and are super cold when you're ready.

I have a nice softsided one I got from target for about $10 bucks. Fits in the basket perfectly and I put headcovers on the other side.

A lot of courses around here have coolers similar to this one that they put your beverages in. Fits nicely in the basket. I bought a similar one from Wal-Mart - don't think it was $25.

The callaway ice cooler looks a lot like the subzero ice cooler available at sears.....It holds 18 cans of beer and plenty of ice and will stay cold for 8 -10hours...Too bad the beers never last that long !!!!
