Anyone see tonight's episode of playing lessons? Did you notice Damon's sweet silver/mirrored looking Puma tour bag? I don't think I could pull that off, but I thought that thing was nice looking?

I liked his entire Puma getup.

His swing looks really weird, but his equipment/apparel looked good.

That bag looked really sweet and Bubba Watson seemed like a really cool guy.

Did anyone else get the impression Damon may have been beaned in the head one too many times?

I'm just speculating, but I'm guessing you're referring to how Damon talks... he has a severe problem with stuttering and fights an internal war to control it- especially on camera.

I did notice that bag- that was kinda sweet looking- and I'm not into flashy golf stuff at all (I certainly don't have the game for it). His golf swing does look a bit like his baseball swing, but lower, which I guess is natural.

I also noticed that he's a rightly golfer, but a lefty hitter- there's another internal conflict I'm sure he's battling.

When you think about that, I think it's amazing that he's golfing and doing TV programs at the same time!

Puma makes some nice gear the problem is it's hard to find in local shops.

Really? I thought he was pretty useless. Most of the time the pro actually seems like they want to be there and offer up genuine, well-spoken advice. Watson was just sort of going through the motions and it seemed like he didn't care to be there. He also seemed to get a lot of enjoyment out of beating Damon. I don't know, maybe the two just made a boring combination, but I didn't like that episode very much.

However, Damon's bag was pretty cool

i thought 1 win bubba came across as a chump.

there seemed to be some tension between the two of them: bubba indirectly calling damon a wimp, saying baseball isn't a game of finesse, etc. at other times he seemed decent, but overall i got the impression he was trying to one up damon the entire show.

i especially liked when bubba seemed to be bothered that damon had more than the allowable number of clubs in his bag, and damon very matter of factly said something like, "yeah but who cares, i'm just trying them all out to see which ones i like best."

Yeah I can't find Puma golf stuff anywhere except for online, and even that's limited. The Puma store in my mall carries no golf apparel either (weird).

Actually the bag was more chrome color and didn't look like any of those on that website. I bet it was a specially made bag.

Anyone who is going to carry a bag like that better have spinners on their cart wheels!
