I saw that too but was wondering if it wasn't just a rental or some sort of official vehicle that they are given to drive for the week. Hard to believe that he would take his car to every venue that he goes too.

Spots were reserved for all of the prior PGA Championship winners in the field. The signs were shown several times during TNT's early coverage.

maybe he just likes the car, and remember tiger doesn't change equipment much. Maybe like his red shirt on sunday he feels he wins when he's driving the Enclave. Seriously with Tiger you never know. For one I give him props for driving a american made car around when our car industry really needs it. Well done tiger.

Might want to check the Quality ratings to see what is the real crap as you put it... Mercedes is way down the list on quality and way up on the list of problems per hundred vehicles. But they do cost a lot..
I had the misfortune to buy a 2009 GL450 that spent 2+ months at the dealership being "fixed".. Biggest waste of $61,000 I can remember.. The next time I want a foreign designed vehicle it will be a BMW that at least resembles quality..
Don't forget he isn't being paid anymore by Buick as their trophy wife, so the vehicle must be reliable enough to get him where he is going.. If it were total crap he wouldn't have to put up with it regardless of whether he is getting it for free or not.. Highly unlikely he is getting it for free as the government would cream GM for anything resembling sponsoring golfers or tournaments.. The task force made that very clear.. Possibly a dealership loaned him one for the tournament, but certainly had no active involvement by Buick..

I'm sure it was a courtesy car but nice to see tiger roll up in a Buick, because I'm sure his people wouldn't let him roll up in something he wasn't comfortable in. I sold for a Buick-Pontiac-gmc store for a few years and averaged 20 units a month, when they came out with the new enclave in 08 we were blown away. Steering and acceleration are smooth as butter, the upholstery is very well appointed, and the overall classy-ness is unbelieveable. Hands down one of the nicest suv's on the market for any amount of money, and super quiet inside. The styling isn't really focused on the older demographic anymore, but that's the stigma Buick hold unfortunatley. I'm 25 and I'd roll an enclave hard anyday.

GM provides the courtesy vehicles for a good chunk of the PGA tournaments, if not all. When I was down at the John Deere classic 2 years ago, the player parking lot was filled with those Buick SUV's, and they all had player names on them.
