Can't play golf this week-end, so next best thing is to watch golf on TV, (Champions/Shell Houston), and talk golf on Forum! bye.gif

It's pouring here in the Hudson Valley, too, no golf till at least Tuesday...

We had beautiful weather all week in Ottawa, and of course it's raining Sat-Sun. Hopefully it will rain during the coming week so that I can play next weekend.

So far next Saturday in NY looks good: 63 degrees and partly sunny. Sunday might rain, though. Might just have to sneak out to the course during the week...

Perhaps it's time to move to northern Minnesota. Played yesterday and today, early morning starting timp 34* both days. By the time I finished 18 holes it was near 70* with no wind. Nice thing about going in the morning here is that everyone is fishing not golfing, had the course to my self. Sure I could see my breath but hey it anit raining.

How are the jobs out there? I've been thinking of getting out of NY anyway.

Northern Minnesota.......I spent a month there one night! wink.gif It was so cold, I saw a chicken with a "Cape On". Bad Joke, Johnny Carson circa 1973.

Downpouring up here in Albany as well. Bummer because I got Monday off from school, so I planned on a nice full day of golf. Now, it isn't looking so good. If it's not raining, I'll go, I don't care how wet it is, but rain makes me depressed.

The "Apple" did it! Congrats to the 3rd Multiple Winner of 06! Nice chatting to all of you. Have a great week and "Keep Hitten' em Long and Straight." bye.gif

We had a cyclone here 5 weeks ago and it's been raining ever since, so I haven't played for 6 weeks. Going away for a tourney this coming weekend - great preparation.

I'll be hitting the range this week, but it's still not the same. fool.gif

Well, got up really early and high tailed it to the course, I had to get my golf fix in. Was a little cold at first, and it stayed wet the entire time, but no rain at all.

Teed off on the front nine (harder nine); I'd wasn't expecting much, I was just glad I was out. Well, at the turn I found myself on a good pace, 3 over. So, I figured keep it together, this is the easier nine here. And what did I proceed to do? Shoot an 8 over 44 on the back for a grand total of 83 russian_roulette.gif But, even with the damp greens, I got my lowest putting total ever, 28 total putts. I just didn't hit my driver good, so I got in some really bad spots. Once I straighten that out, I'll be in great shape for the year.

Vince

Edit: It rained as I was driving back home.
