Here are some preview pics of our new 2010 Staff Bag that we are working on. There will be a few small changes made and we might change around the colors a bit but this is very close to what the final product will look like.

I like the design, but I'm not a big fan of the color lay out. I think the second bag would look much better if the blue and white switched places and the bag was mostly white with red and blue accents. There is no hope for the first bag as it is clearly Michigan colors.

LOL do not worry. Like all Scratch Golf products these will be available to the General Public not just to Tour Pros. That is the way we do it with our Tour Department Wedges and Irons these Staff Bags will be no different.
The colors are no finalized yet. We are trying to do something different with the colors than what has been done before. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Make a bag similar in color to the 1018 wedges.
Smoke black background with white trim.

what better color than pearl silver? mimics wedge metal different look silver. i love my silver titleist bag silver scratch would be cool, maybe with dayglo green or orange piping?
check out the f1 cars this year. strange bodies but cool color schemes, brawn gp, renault, red bull.
just some ideas.

I think the style of the bag is nice, but the yellow maybe just a little to bright for my liking. The red/white/blue looks good, but maybe switch the colors up slightly. Maybe the blue for the white, or something.
I do own the black and maroonish staff bag. This bag is just very sleek looking, not to over the top for my taste (yellow and blue is just to much for me).
My suggestions would be the red/white/blue bag. Also maybe a black with white lining/outline/tubing, what ever the correct term is. But all and all they look good. The bag it self is a nice looking bag.

Jul 23 2009, 02:23 AM
Great bag! But....Not a huge fan of the colors....I'd stick to an all white with black writing or maybe a dark blue but with white writing? The blue/white/red bag should be white with blue patchwork and red trim
Side "S" should be rotated so that its upright when being carried....if that makes sense? And should have SCRATCH GOLF under the "S"

Beautiful bag. Clean and simple design. Of course I'd like to see the red & white but I'm a bit biased... I would like so see some sort of colors though as black and white is a bit too 'blah' for my taste.

I recommend using buffalo vinyl or textured vinyl rather than the smooth as seen in the photos. Smooth vinyl tends to discolor, scratch, show dirt , show wrinkles etc... more so than the buffalo-textured-embossed vinyl.

I would also be in for a white and lime green one. Can't wait to see the final design though.

Be careful with white/green colors. With the death of MacGregor and Nickent on the ropes, it may not be such a lucky color combination...

Too bad as I really like the white/green scheme.

k random question, and absolutely nothing against you guys, but is there a company that makes most staff bags? because every single part of that bag minus the colours and logos looks exactly like the old Taylormade r7 bag? the entire design of it, even the little part that had the r7 logo on the side and everything.

Most current staff bags are made in China. Of those China imports I've owned staff bags with Callaway logo, Titleist, Ping, and Srixon. The Srixon staff bags are by far the best quality (heavy duty vinyl, heavy duty zippers, rain hood , pocket orientation) . Callaway and Titleist about the same, fair quality. Ping is the least quality of the staff bags I've owned.
www.beldingsports.com makes their staff bags in Southern California and these bags are the best quality available, either leather or vinyl or a combination leather/vinyl. Since the Belding bags are expensive the OEM brands don't use them for volume staff bag production, but instead just small lot production for Tour staff player use and maybe trade show display use.
I am reasonably certain Tiger's Buick bag and now AT & T bag is made in the USA by Belding. Mostly Belding's business is
private country club logo and other corporate logo staff bags (and matching headcovers) for special events. Also, Belding will produce staff bags for individuals. It's all custom order, whatever colors the customer wants, embroidery etc... My guess is the Belding custom ordered staff bags run about $600 for vinyl and $1,200 for leather. That's just a guess but I know it's up there.
Anyway, for cart riding and overall club protection, nothing beats a staff bag.

I've own TM, Titty, Ping stand bags, but I have the Scratch Bag (black/maroon), and really prefer it over the stand bags. I can fit anything and everything in it, and it looks great too.

Very nice looking. My only design suggestion would be to angle the side "S" logo about 45*. This way the logo looks good if the bag is sitting up or laying down (like nexxt to the green).
Colors... I'd like navy and white, lime green and white (maybe with yellow or bright blue accents?), silver and crimson.
