Also, have you had the shafts frequency tested? The printing on the shafts is only a guide to the shaft's makeup--they could be night and day different in actuality.

I'll add that the XLS Tour is 1 or 2* open versus the Superquad being 1* Closed. So the effective loft of the XLS is going to be around 8.5 versus 10.5 for the Superquad.
And like the previous poster mentioned, the XLS is lowwww spin and the Superquad is mid to high spin.
Not sure this would make for an 80 yard loss but those are two very different drivers.
