If G10 irons are considered to be player improvement irons, are the pros wearing the hats really playing these irons?

90% of all OEM hats are logo'd for the drivers, not the irons. Take a look at the TaylorMade & Callaway staffers. Their hats will generally show a driver model such as the Ft-9 or R7, Burner, etc. By the way, they usually reflect the most popular model, not necessarily the driver the player is actually using. It is strictly an opportunity to advertise on TV.

As to your question, the majority of Ping staffers are playing I10's or S57's. There are some that are using a G10 3 iron, such as Cabrerra.

both Glover and Cink have the VR logo on their hats, but neither of them are playing VR irons.

as stated, it's just advertisement space.

Have you guys ever looked at any of the tournament pictures on the site? Do you really think all of the pro's are some kind of super human's and none would ever play with GI irons?

Umm, did you read either of the previous replies?

Please show me where either of the replies state or even hint that some pro's don't play GI irons? The OP asked "specifically" about the G10 logo on Ping staffers hats, and I will stand by my reply regarding that topic.

This question has been posted countless times about not just Ping, but every other brand as well. When I read the OP's question, it is not really about the hats, it is about whether or not any pro's are playing GI clubs.
This horse along with the square versus the traditional driver head style horse, has been beat to death. In the end it has very little to do about the hat and all to do with getting the ball in the hole whether your a pro or Joe weekend hacker.
And I'll always stand by what I post as well......

Not to stir the pot, but most PING staffers have had a G10 driver, fairway wood or hybrid in their bag at some point. It looks like PING has failed with the Power of 10 campaign if the first and only thing someone thinks about is irons. I am of the opinion though that the words on the hat has little to do with what is actually in the bag.
