Woods? Westwood? Who do you remember playing well in bad weather? (not including Tom Watson)

Paddy plays well in horrid weather...as does probably any eminent European Tour player. Camilo Villegas also seems to traditionally do well at the Open.

Can Villegas drive it straight enough? And Paddy seems way off his game. Goosen has shown signs of life but does he play well in bad weather? I'm looking at Pampling, Poulter and Kaymer too.

Darren Clarke. My favorite to win no matter what the weather is doing.
But, he is a fine foul weather player.
Jer-Jer
David Duval.

I'd like to see Rory win. He should be used to the track and weather.

I think Tiger has the edge since he is a true worker of the ball, LRHL, he can do it all. The rough is very bad so if he
pulls driver, he better be in control.

Woods will win by 4.

I've seen Westwood do well when they could barely stand up. It's about time he bagged a major and he's hitting it well atm. Paired with Tigger as well.

Alot of the Brits and Irish grew up in this stuff (the ones that didn't go the US college route) - Paddy, Rory etc will be hoping the worse weather the better I reckon.

Not sure if Tiger likes the really bad weather - seem to remember a pretty embarrassing Open round.

Forecast isn't pretty btw - especially Friday - think we might see some tantrums

He's been one of the straighter ~300 yard drivers. Paddy is off his game, but I think inclement weather would help his cause. If no one's sticking anything and everyone's grinding it out, Paddy has a chance. IMO Kaymer is interesting b/c he's very long and straight with a low ball flight, and of course, the hto streak.

Woods, Stenson & Allenby are my top 3 picks
Seņor Rafa
My three picks for this year's Open are:

1. Martin Kaymer.
2. Lee Westwood.
3. Adam Scott.

I picked Kaymer because his form his hott at the moment and I don't think anyone would be surprised if he went on to win in three consecutive weeks. Westwood got a pick too because his game has looked pretty sharp in the last couple of weeks and Turnberry looks like a course that set up ideal for his game. And lastly; I picked Scott as more of a 'wildcard' pick. He's been invisble for the last two years; but his game has come on very nicely in the last month and is striking the ball solid.
