Just curious....Is Bethpage Black re-open for public play? Have any wrx'ers been out yet? I need to plan business trip out to LI and wanted to play.

Just watch out for July 20-23, thats the NYS Open.

I'm sure the Black opened a lot quicker than the Red or some of the other courses that were used for the hospitality areas and such will. Usually those secondary courses take a beating and can be months before they are in playable shape.

conditions were very good...fairly mild rough and the greens had not been aerated. obviously the spectator areas are still messed up and most of the tents are still up, including many stands as well. All in all pretty normal conditions for bethpage.
