My wife and I will be in San Jose Del Cabo from 7/12-7/19 and I'm hoping to get a couple rounds of golf in.

I see that Cabo Del Sol Ocean has the front 9 closed so I'm not sure if it's worth it.

I see that Norman has a new course called Puerto Los Cabo that looks really nice and Jack has a new course called Club Campestre and both are offering $99 green fees after 12 plus free beverage cart access.

Any thoughts or advise on golfing in Cabo? I will be renting clubs.

I'm also open to recomendation on places to eat/drink and other activities.

Thanks!!

Stayed there about a month ago.
Compreste was nice. Friendly. They had just 7 people on the tee sheet for the day! I played 36 and was back to my resort before 1pm.
Cabo Real. My favorite for the trip. Trent Jones track that was really fun. If you have a gps, bring it, they ought to have the carts equipped. But it was beautiful.
DO not pay for Del Sol. Only 9 holes open.
Palmiro, VERY nice.
Los Cabo C.C., ok. Good warm up course.
El Dorado.Private. Best maintained course in the area. Beautiful grounds.

Nightlife, Go Downtown, walk thru the mall to the marina. A whole host of fun bars and a few nice spots to shop and eat.

Enjoy.

I really like Cabo Real. I played it when I was down over the christmas break.
