You can try Mill Creek or Blackstone. Both fun and immaculate tracks.

Randall Oaks is about 15 minutes away...park district but nice.

Prairie Landing is in West Chicago, 20 minutes away a RTJ links course...very fun.

Cantigny is about 30 minutes away, outstanding track and facility. Hosts quite a few USGA events/qualifiers.

Blackstone is great as noted.

If you don't mind a bit of a drive, Oak Grove in Harvard is a top notch, unknown facility. If you have time for 36, they offer a great replay or Plum Tree National is 5 minutes away...another awesome course.

The re-designed Dubs, home of the BMW this year, is also outstanding. Better have a great sand game.

Foxford Hills in Cary is a quality track. Not well known but always in outstanding condition. If you have time for 36, Chalet Hills is it's neighbor and another great course.

Klein Creek in Winfield is awesome, no range though, just a couple of hitting bays.

Let me know if you need more...there are a ton of great courses in Chicago.

the only one i've played in that area is Randall Oaks in West Dundee. Pretty nice course imo.
