I am looking at the Footjoy athletics which has an outer lip for stability. Any others
in this category that I might like for under 100?

Just bought a pair of last years DryJoys with that feature for $70 locally. Also the Dryjoy pros(which I also have have awesome support and stability. This years models that I tried on do have have the support I need. Maybe consider an orthotic insert?

Contour series. It really "contours" to your foot well.

If you want stable, try Walter Genuine. They are by far the best.

hi tech cdt power pro models. not very long lasting (1 year) but incredible stability and traction. Beats my adidas 3.0s and footjoys hands down. Padraig was involved in designing the cdt power pros apparently and he's all about stability and traction - that was his whole selling point for switching to footjoy synrgy's. The CDT power pro's "swing dams" really work to keep your feet from rolling off.
I would buy the CDT power pros again (only if discounted) if not for the fact i spent a mini fortune on the 3.0s.
Another would be the puma full smartquills. seen some going for real cheap on ebay. have read here the grip is fantastic. spike pattern and design seems really good at avoiding clogging (which is the problem with 3.0s). Too bad puma's are way too narrow for me. My 3.0s are practically yard tools - leaf collecting to be exact.
