Ok so I picked up a new set of Taylor Made TP forged smoke blades with flighted rifle 6.0's. And WOW, is all I can say! yahoo.gif
I'm coming from a set of R7 TP's with S300 shafts (I think these were too weak for my swing). I immediately took these to the range and literally fell in love immediately. My ball flight is dead straight, much higher, longer (hitting the wedge 150) and the feel is waaaay better. I'm not gonna lie, I've always been kinda scared to purchase/use a set of forged blades (this being my first set). Only about 3 miss hits (first time hitting these, mind you...) out of 150-175 balls. So yeah, I'm excited and I can't wait to take these bad boys on the course! I guess these just give me a tad more confidence in my swing... Ok, thanks for letting me share! biggrin.gif

Congrats on finding a set you love. I had a set of these blades and they were nice for sure. They not only looked sweet with that smoke finish, but felt pretty solid yet soft. A lot of tour pros are still playing these even now, though I think most have the satin version.

Hope they keep working out for you! Once you get used to blades, its hard to go back to anything else. biggrin.gif

Those are some sexy looking clubs!! The fact that you can also hit them long and straight is awesome. Right on!!

Nice looking irons I just wish I was good enough to play them.

But you really should put iron covers on them when you are transporting them. I had a forged set and this helped keep them in better shape than if they were in the trunk constantly hitting each other. I would take all the covers off before I played and then put them back on before putting them back in the trunk.

Got a set of smokes probably the best TM irons I have had.
