How do you know there are not just Irish ?
Hey....easy now. I happen to be Irish! I have cut my drinking down to next to nothing, less than six beers a day average now (I have diabetes), down from the days in my twenties/thirties when I was at least twelve a day. I'm forty eight and weigh around 160.
My father who is one hundred percent Irish although he was born here, still drinks I would guess twelve/fifteen beers a day at age 75 and is going strong. He told me as my grandfather could really knock them down and drank four/five cases a week in his pre America days and nearly that many here.
Not all Irish are big drinkers (so I've been told),although I have never met one that didn't like a nip every now and then. Now the two packs of smokes a day is another story........
I do agree that the clown yelling "get in the hole" at every tee shot on a par five, should be nutted to change his voice a little, which would make it much tougher to scream so loud.
