Duval moved from 882 to 142. (53rd ranked US Player)
Glover moved from 71 to 18. (Started 2009 at 177) (8th ranked US Player)
Barnes moved from 519 to 153.

Would love to see Duval's comeback completed with a win or dare i say even a spot on the 2010 Ryder Cup team.

Here are the complete rankings.

Just shows how tight all these guys are to move up from 882 to 142, 53rd in the US, just with one good tournament.

Agreed. It just goes to show how subjective the ranking really are of you can move up that many spots with one good major tourney! All those guys are SO GOOD, not much really separates them at all.

Without doing any research I am just trying to figure out how losing one week (US Open two years ago) out of your ranking and adding this year's US Open results in Duval leapfrogging Barnes when they both finished T2. Before US Open week Barnes was almost 400 spots ahead of Duval, the both go T2, and now Barnes is 11 spots behind? Huh?

It all depends on what was dropped out.

Think of it like when you shoot a round of golf over your handicap, but your handicap goes down. It happens because the score that rolled off was worse than the score that was entered.
