I hate these idiots and every one of them should land on the bottom of the food chain, not be allowed to reproduce and receive one-way tickets to somewhere far away like Mars. this thread is awesome! the one thing that really get me is the "GITH" screamers. These people are retards! i cant stand watching someone like woods or lefty tee off lets say a par-5 when seconds after the tee shot you hear "GET IN THE HOLE" its just like wow....its a PAR 5!!!!!!!!

what does 'one time' mean? ....one putt? one shot?....... heard this bawled out a couple of times yesterday.

We had a competition a while ago to see who could come up with the most banal thing to yell....."get in the fridge' was the winner

I think everyone should yell it all the time at golf tournaments even when a pro marks his ball.

i couldnt remember what the guy yelled, but you are right and i thought it was a micro second after the swing, think maybe it was phil swinging.

I have not been to a pga event live yet, but when i do..i fear being thrown out for punching out a guy who does this. The worst thing about it is that people do it immediately after a swing...when often its a bad shot.
It is kind of similar, although not quite, to playing with people yourself and seeing a drive you know is going to keep hooking into the woods...yet the others say out loud "nice shot"...i would hate to be a pro knowing its a bad shot..and goofballs are yelling nice shot or get in the hole.

I think its funny. I always laugh when I hear 12352 guys scream it.

I could care less if it's after the guy putts but when a guy is hitting driver off the tee and somebody yells get in the hole I find it very annoying.

Yea he yelled it after Mickelson hit. I for one thought it was the funniest thing, gave me a good chuckle.

Maybe people should start yelling quotes from Happy Gilmore, and wear the beer dispensing helmets.

Have a group of fans waiting to get into the event. Price of admission is beating the living sh!t out of each person that yells "gith." You get their ticket after you beat them to a bloody pulp.

Not sure if anyone else heard it, but the funniest thing I heard yelled, was on Sunday when Barnes was at -11 and Tiger was like +2, someone yelled "Ricky who?" right after Tiger hit his drive.

generally I am not a big fan of GITH, but last year, tiger's chip in on 17 when the guy yells "ONE TIME" or "WHASSSUUUUP" (can never really tell what he says) was an exception. For some reason I find it really entertaining....

I am conviced the people who do it have the DVR set at home, and after the round race home in bad traffic and roll it back over and over so they can hear themselves scream on TV with a 6 pack of Nat Lite and hot pockets. IMO, these are typically the same people who always end up being interviewed on the evening news at the scene of an accident or crime scene as an eyewitness.

On the final round for Tiger on either the first or second hole on Sunday evening someone screamed to his playing partner "TIGER'S BETTER" after he took his second shot.

I'm not a Tiger hater, in fact I love watching Tiger, but I hate the entourage that is sure to follow at every event he participates in. It's completely disgusting. For "informed fans" NYC didn't show up, at least, not in any intelligent capacity.

One of these days, Id like to hear someone say "STFU!", "STOP SAYING GITH", OR "CUT IT OUT!" after a GET IN THE HOLE.

What bothered me more than this on Sunday was when Michael Sim hit a decent drive after Tiger put it behind a tree on the first tee, Sim is hitting is 2nd and right after he hits it some idiot yells, "TIGER'S WAS STILL BETTER!" Seriously?

My favorite was watching Steve Stricker (a few tournaments back) hit his drive into the deep right rough, laying about 195 yards out he has no option but to lay up so he grabs his sand wedge, hacks the hell out of the grass moving the ball about 90 yards as some r-tard yells "YEAH GET IN THE HOLE!!"
