I hope not, thats a really long time from now and I will NEVER remember that. I heard everyone shot in the 80's this time. So either it wwas alot easier, or they (the stars) did alot of praticing over the last year to not embarass them selves this year.

Are we going to have to watch the Challenge to see how Bethpage was supposed to play?

I wrote this on another thread here but for those who didn't see it I'm repeating it here. My reason is because three of the four participants broke 90; I don't want you to get the wrong idea. The final today gave everyone sort of a taste as to a dry Black.
As someone who lives on Long Island and plays the Bethpage courses every week, I just want to tell you out-of-towners that this is NOT the way the Black normally plays. It is one of the hardest courses that you might ever try to negotiate. Shooting 80 or above is really not too difficult but it's when someone looks to break 80 is when the course really shows itself. You better be long and straight, have a good short game and be in great physical shape. The last being very important because NO riding carts are allowed at any time on The Black. Plus the rough [even now graduated for The Open] is unbelievable. TV does not show how tough walking really is [it makes everything look flat] nor does it show the elevation changes very well and it doesn't show how tough the bunkers are. The shot to the 15th green is like trying to hit a ball over a small building. If the weather was dry and warm, very few of those shots to the green would be holding and most of the pros would be chipping back. Also the leading score might be around even par right now. You would see a whole different game.
