Picked up this headcover from Bethpage on Sunday. They come in black and white. I really have a soft spot for the AM&E headcovers.

I don't think the pictures of those have been released yet. There is one for sale on eBay with 11 bids but no pictures.... Crazy!

I have an AM&E putter cover from the 2002 BETHPAGE open, purchased on-line from I believe the USGA site. It is black with the 2002 OPEN logo on it and I love it (and NO YOU CAN'T BUY IT FROM ME). There was a retailer for AM&E online, but they are no longer in service (at least not on-line). I e-mailed AM&E one time to see if they deal direct with the general public, they claimed that they only work with pro shops etc.

That's a very sharp cover, Bethpage has such a classic logo I absolutely love it. I too am a big fan of the AM&E putter covers....

I saw these on ebay and I am definitely going to pick up a couple (or more) to use on Friday.

Now the question is......

Do I buy a black, a black and a white, or 16 on Friday??

I think I'm going to pick up three black ones. One to keep as a momento, one to game, and another one on reserve to game after the first one wears away. Why black? It is Bethpage Black, isn't it?

That's a cool headcover. Too bad I can't personally appreciate it anymore, I used to be a fan of AM&E headcovers.

I picked up two, one white and one Black. In the end i couldn't decide between the two so I got one of each. And I decided to use the other $25 I was going to spend on a US Open poster with the 18th hole in the background. Should look great framed and matted in a future golf room/office

I had the same problem..... and went the same route. They really were the best value going in the merch tent though, AM&E quality with the classy Bethpage Logo. Much better than some of the other items in there...

Wow! That cover looks so good that I want one, and for $25 it's only 1/3 the $$$ of the Skunk Carp cover which was also made by the same vendor. Since it is Friday afternoon and we're serving Kool-Aid cocktails now, we'll not mention that copy-cat of the original WRX cover, etc.
