I went to the US Open on Monday and want to put out my experience. First of all, we put the course address in the GPS. Takes us right to the course. We get all of the way to the course and dont see a single US OPEN PARKING sign. At all other events you will always see these. So at that point i opent the ticket information (probably should have done this before) and it says we have to go to Jones Beach which is 20 mins away for a bus ride back. Cant park and walk because pedestrian traffic is not allowed. !5 mins into the drive away from the course we see the US OPEN PARKING sign. Once we get there we find Tigers group and follow him. We get to the 2nd hole and wait for him to finish 1st. As he is walking up, one of the USGA volunteers says "Hey guys Tiger is coming!!" Like we didnt know. Funny. So we go ahead to the 4th. Again a USGA officaly says "Hey Tiger is coming!!!" A woman walks up with her son looking for a autograph which it clearly says are prohibited on the course. So Tiger walks down the steps and her son asks him. Tiger politely as can be says "after the round no problem" After they all hit 30 second after he says this, his mom asks again. Unbelievable. Course was unreal.
I hope because it was Monday the USGA wasnt finished putting up the parking signs.
