Problem is that I cannot find an alternative to Footjoy Classics quality that can offer EEE width. I sent 2 Classics back because they were not waterproof anymore after a year of regular use. I now rather have Gore-Tex protection; period!
Do you know any other brand of shoes that offer width as wide as EEE.
By that way, I don't have the option of trying all sorts of different brands. I have tried regular Ecco (classic line) and was too narrow. I know you can remove the inliner in world class model to make it wider but don't have the chance to try it nearby, anybody has any experience with them? Can removing inliner make a regular fit EEE, I doubt it.
How about Adidas, Nike etc?
Any feedback is appreciated.

New Balance--they have golf shoes up to EEEE. Also, many models of FootJoy shoes can be ordered in X-wide.

I have the same issue. I wear a 9EEE and can't find anything other than Footjoy classics. The contour series was descent but did not have enough side support and they ended up blowing out on the sides. You can forget Adidas. They have wides but they have no clue as to what a wide foot really is. I have yet to find any brand other than Footjoy that really fits. I do believe that Callaway has a couple of shoes that are fairly wide but I pretty much gave up. NB does have golf shoes but I do not think they are actually made by new balance. I think they are made by Dunham or something like that. I hope your successful but I think you are going to have to stick with Footjoy.

Whiteshark; NewBalance seems to offer some with extra widt but doesn't seem good of a quality.
Joneser; I saw couple of Callaways that seem wide but I think they have the same so called inliner system where you can remove to make it wider. I am not sure if that actually works to the point of making it to EEE width. It rains a lot where I live so shoes need to offer good protection. I find only Gore-Tex can offer that protection. I am sad to let go FootJoys.
Thanks for responses

I ordered my last two pair of 3E FJs back in November. I think that New Balance is out of the golf shoe business. I was able to get a couple of pair in 3E just a few weeks ago. The big and tall shop just has no options these days. Feel lucky, you don't wear a size 16.

Try Callaway Hyperbolics. They might not be a good fit if your heel area is wide as well. I found lots of room in the forefoot area. I never thought about trying them until I had gone through almost every model in the store. The Callaways were the last pair I tried and I took them home.
Another brand to try is Geox. They have just been released and they are wide fitting shoes.

Footjoy contours definitely come in triple wide mens 9 because my last three pair have been these, and they fit great.

Golfho, I am convienced that Puma Swing GTX may be a good fit with offerings of Gore-Tex etc. I'll certainly give it a try, thanks.

EEE/EEEE here. Finding X-wide shoes is hard.
I wore FJ Contours last year. They were OK.
I tried on a pair of ECCOs on a whim one day and now I rotate two pairs. I found that I had to go a couple sizes larger (50 when I would have thought 46-47), but they fit quite well.

I think Puma's are out. I have asked one of the shops that sell them online and here is the answer I got
The Puma shoes are generally quite a narrow shoe so we order the Wide fit as they are closer to a normal fit than the standard fit Puma.
One size larger on Ecco's is something I may try out.
