Wear some socks that are a little thicker.
I tried wearing a little thicker/taller sock and it did help but only delayed the pain onset. Might have to try 2 pairs and see what happens.

Get some Moleskin..great stuff, thicker and more adhesive than a bandaid. And you can cut it to any size. You should be able to find some in the shoe inserts section of stores.
