I just picked up a pair of Classics Tour shoes from TGW and was wondering if you guys thought the Classics Tour or Classics Dry Premiere were better? I see the Dry Premiere have the leather sole but I wonder if they would be too heavy for walking. I know there are some threads here on them but I'd like to get the most current thoughts. Thanks in advance!!

I have a pair of Classics Tour and they are fabulous.

I prefer the Dry Premieres. I've had both and think the quality and craftsmanship is superior to the Classics Tour. I'm surprised they retail for the same. Yes, they are heavier and stiffer, but I walked in a pair last week 18 holes with the only break-in period being a trip to the range and they were fine.

Either way, time is running out to find these online, production is over and replaced with the Icon.

I have multiple pairs of both. The dry premiers are slightly heavier, but not really noticeable on your feet. I can only tell the difference when I'm holding a tour in one hand and a dry in the other. The decision on which to game is based solely on which pair is up in the rotation or to match slacks and shirt.

I love my Classics Tour. Really comfortable shoe and great for walking the course. You won't be disappointed.

Classics Dry Premiere.. no contest.

Classics Tour are nice but not even close to CDP... Tour's are lighter.. but not that big of a difference.
