For all those that use the Sun Mountain Four 5, Nike Sasquatch Tour and any other bags with 14-way dividers...Do you guys think the 14-way divider lessens club chatter or does it make it worse?

I have no experience with the bags you mentioned , but I use a TM MONACO with a 14 club divider and there is less iron chatter and clubs are eaiser to put in and get out. I like the design too.

Probably one of the main reasons why I won't buy another ping carry bag. My hoofer vantage gives me a hard time putting the clubs back into the bag flush. Usually, at least one of the clubs doesn't wan't to go all the way in.

I specifically picked out the Sasquatch for the 14 dividers (also the fact it will hold four cans of beer in the insulated pocket). Clubs are far easier to get out, not sure about the chatter though.

i have the older pro combo tour bag that is exactly the same as the sasquatch tour bag.. i also have a staff bag.. i think that there is more club chatter.. that doesnt bother me much, but the thing that does, it chatters on the same place on each club. so on each club, there's a section with an inch of chatter dents.. it gets kinda ugly when you look at it, but i always forget about it.. just get cheapo club covers or something..

At the store, I put in couple of clubs into the SM Four 5 and I noticed that because there are more spaces between each club, they seem to swing around and run into each other with more force. I noticed that the Nike Sasquatch bag had a higher mid section. Maybe you can put the long irons in the middle section and short/mid irons to the either side and they would miss each other.

I think it does make for more chatter since each club is sitting separately instead of resting against another club. This is the same beef I have with the Woode top from Ogio - in the irons section they put the little nubs to separate the clubs and all it does is create a pivot point for them the bang together more often. I used to own an SQ bag and when I bought a new one for my push cart I specifically got the Speed Cart Bag since it didn't have a 14 way top.

I have a Sun Mountain C-130 for cart use. It has the 14 way divider and my experience has been that it reduces bag chatter significantly, especially when driving the cart over rougher areas. When I use my walking bag on a cart with it's 5 way divider I get a lot more chatter. When I use my push cart with the walking bag it isn't a problem. My .02.

I have the Titleist Ultralight stand bag. It only has one divider. I put all my irons and wedges in the bottom compartment. Because they rest together they are a lot quieter when I walk. I think this results in less bag chatter than if they were more separated and thus allowed to clang together more. The clubs are pretty easy to get in and out but not as easy as with a 14 slot bag.

I have used a push cart for the last 10 years and recently bought a Nike Sasquatch Tour bag. My goal was to walk more on the course and get in shape! LOL The first thing I noticed was how much my clubs clanked together. It is kind of annoying but the noise can be reduced by putting a towel between the clubs, then you can use the towel for cleaning your ball on the green etc.
Most of the courses up here have a $25 dollar rate for 18 holes and a cart so I don't carry it too much. The Nike bag is terrible in a cart because the bottom plate that extends the legs is too big to fit decently on an electric cart, at least up here in the boondocks!

Hard to say.
I have a SM 4.5 and a tour sasquatch. I think because there is some space between the clubs, they do tend to make more noise for some reason.
They are both great bags but that being said, I'm sticking with my 2009 Titleist Premium bag. It's the Bomb

I have the Sasquatch and there might be a little more clanging around. Not enough to make a difference IMO. I'd certainly buy this bag again.
