Well, it is time for a new bag, I'm not a walker very often but I do use a push car about 50% of the time, a cart the rest. I've been using the Taylormade R7 Mini Staff Bag for a little over a year but recently switched back to Cobra irons and am just going to leave the TMs in the TM bag for a while until I make a decision as to what to do with them.

I have narrowed the search down to Sun Mtn. MPB (but I'm not crazy about the putterwell set up)
The Nike Sasq Tour (but I have nothing Nike in my bag which is a bit of a hangup for me personally)
Cobra GT Stand Bag (which is the only one I have not personally looked at but hope to today)

I have also looked around at some of the Japan only bags but hate to spend that much right now, although it is not out of the question.

I would really like to hear from some SM and Cobra GT users, especially if you use a push cart/riding cart mix as far as when you play.

I have read a bunch of the comments already written but am still up in the air.

I have a Cobra Gt Stand Bag. Very nice bag as far as the layout, pockets ,etc.I use mine for when I am walking only and traveling light. Will work on a cart but I didn't prefer it for cart use.I have a staff bag that weighs a ton for cart use.I have a push pull cart but found that I liked just throwing this bag over my shoulder and going. My only negative is I didn't care for the harness.I have wide shoulders and found the harness difficult to throw over both shoulders.I ended up just throwing the bag over one shoulder and going.I had an older Cobra stand bag and the harness was more adjustable and fit me better..Nice and lightweight multi- purpose bag. Good choice...Go Birds

I would agree with your assessment 100%, and since i am a cart guy, either riding or pushing, mine is going back I'm afraid. I also didn't like how high the clubs sit in the bag, I guess I am just to use to cart bags, but it looked like my clubs were elevated, I din't care for that at all. Fortuneately I can send it back to TGW for about 5 bucks.
