congrats to Rory Sabbatini, as one of his few fans on this board it's nice to see him win again. It's been a rough couple of years with equipment changes and few high finishes, but hopefully he'll contend in some more big events this year. At the very least he's a colorful guy and an aggressive player, which could benefit the tour while missing one of it's biggest attractions (unfortunately, Phil)

Rory is a good guy. He lives near me and we have alot of mutual friends. I think his self-imposed ban on talking with the media was probably a good idea. Of course, until this week there wasn't alot of reason for the media to talk with him.

Good to see him playing well. I'm certain he'll be ready again this week at Colonial.

He came off bad a few years ago with the Tiger talk,etc... but many people have said he is nice to the fans, supports the military, and is generally a good guy.

couple times today --after he hit his approach shot..I said to myself.. "he hit that shot FAT " .. only to see his shots end up, on target, next to the pin. Great Play.
