Having already bought the April Golf Digest and Golf magazines a while ago, I was in need of a fix until the May issues came out. I took a chance on a magazine called Golf Tips, and I'm glad I did.
Much better than both GD and Golf magazine IMO. There is an article about some of the specialized iron shots the players will need at Augusta and how to execute them written by Brady Riggs (Redgoat) that was very interesting. Also a very concise article on hitting solid irons, an iron buyers guide, and "What you want vs. what you need" article on purchasing irons that was refreshingly honest. It all tied very well together. The only thing that GD has that this magazine doesn't that is of any interest is the "What's in the bag" section, but that is all of 2 pages. Overall a lot more actual content and information than magazines with another 80-100 pages.
Do yourself a favour and pick one up.
