Well as some of you might remember a while back i had a post about my glove troubles.. and wanted to seek out and search for a better glove that will last longer, with out me having to build a factory to make them!..but AT LAST! i have found one.. and here is the combo story/review.

I must say, as a Avid weekly golfer, and someone who tends to have a over tightened grip Find a glove that could handle the stress I put it under is rough, I have been through all brands Nike, Callaway, and lastly Footjoy. I have tried several gloves to really get the right feel, fit and wear limits.. And I can proudly say I have finally found it .. and it all started with The Haney Project with Charles Barkley. From the first episode I have wondered what kind of glove he was wearing, and how after hitting 1000s of balls it still looked perfect, and after emailing the show, I was able to find out it was a Cutters Glove (very famous brand in football and baseball gloves).. They are famed for grip and fit.. and I must say that's 100% true. The glove Charles wore in the show is the same one every time, the source I spoke with even told me that the glove looked brand new from start of filming to end of filming.. and that was the only glove that Charles hit with .. After hitting the 1000s of balls, hank made him hit, im sure it went through some hell of abuse. This sent up a red flag in my head, cause I practice at the range daily and play 3-4 times a week. So my gloves go trough hell and back, and normally don't last more then 2 weeks.

So let me get to the point, I contacted Cutters immediately to get a response, telling me I can order online. and the exact one that was used on Haney Project was the 019x Pro Glove. This comes in a multitude of colors.. But me being on the classic side of things I picked up black and white (sorry Charles orange isn't my color) And that they offer a wide range of sizes. I went ahead and asked how they fit against other brands.. (Me being a m/l in most brands) they told me they run just about the same, even went ahead and sent me a glove fitment chart to print out, which confirmed I was still a M/L. I went ahead and placed my order..

The glove arrived in a VERY nice packaging, perfect for repack after use, to keep dry clean and leather cooled.. so it wont get all messy like my other gloves in my bag, all wrinkles around and not fresh to the hand each time I put them on ( sometimes might not care, but I do.. like the new tighter feeling of the leather)

Upon the first try on, I was WOW'd I mean the leathers, the mesh PERFECT! The fit was dead on, to the fingertips, no movement or slide in the big brands. You can tell this was handmade and perfectly stitched. The Glove is made with a Synthetic mesh material on the top of the glove, allowing for stretching where needed near the knuckles. The 100% authentic Italian leather comes back into play on the fingers top and bottoms, also featuring perforations for air through out the glove, I must also mention that in Florida's heat, you can sweat in every spot, and with the mesh material it wicks it away like Heat Gear. Its Great, no more sweaty hands. Back to the glove.. as you can see in photos, it features what there calling "unparallel gripping materials" which to my best of knowledge has to be the GREATEST part of this glove. IT helps you hold on to the glove PERFECTLY, no slip, no movement what so ever in hand. Its on the 2 index fingers and on the thumb, also double strips on palm, which help lock your club into place when holding. Now after 2 weeks of use, as you can see only a little bit of dirt has been showing, but the "Grip Material" is still like new, and still sticky as ever. I know people don't like to hear.. "wow saved me 10 strokes in my last round" but I will give you all a honest reading here I'am a normal 12 Handicap, and it did save me atleast 3-5 strokes on my last few rounds. The grip is great when you really want to buckle down on a shot and need that force on the club.

Well to wrap this up, this has to be the BEST glove I have ever played with and when I find products like this.. i think people should know. If you wanna follow some of my advice head over to cutersgloves.com and grab one. There Great, and yes you only need one, so far this one glove has been through 10 rounds, and 14 practice days.. And not a scratch on it! .. Still sticky and still perfect. They do have a couple other versions, I have yet to try, but I may.. All I gotta say is the 019X Pro, is for me!

And the Monster Photo.. What People really wanna see FITment.. PERFECT!

I do apologize for Used photos, but in my mind its better for people to see the glove USED.. plus I couldn't let it sit in the package for more then 5 minutes once that fedex box came.

IF anyone has any Questions or possible wants me to add to this review. please just PM me

I bought one of these gloves towards the end of last year. I really liked it as well, however, I did not find out until after I bought that it is not USGA legal. I checked the website and there is no mention that is USGA legal. I'm sure if it was, they'd say it. I use mine for practice once in awhile. I don't play in tournaments, but my playing partners would say we don't play non-conforming drivers, etc. o why would a glove be any different and I agree with them. As long as you don't play in tournaments, I guess it really doesn't matter. However, if you do, you wouldn't want to get used to that glove and then switch to another for tournament play.

Any word back from Cutter?
callawayaddict
here is the answer i got back this morning..

Derek,

Thanks for the e-mail. From what we can tell by reading the rulebook and looking at other gloves currently on the market, all of our gloves do conform to USGA standards. However, we have not yet received official approval from the USGA. We hope to have approval soon and I will certainly keep you updated.

Hopefully this helps…if you have any more questions, please let me know.

i dont know if that helps really, its not a solid answer to me, but i dont play in pga events, im a weekender, so o well.. for now..
