It is truly a shame. Hopefully if the disease was caught soon enough the treatment will be effective and things will work out satisfactorily.
I do think Phil will be back, I have no guesses as to when.
Not cool to have "I hope not" as a choice. We should all hope his wife recovers and he gets back to golf as soon as possible. Even if you hate Phil how could you want anyone to not come back to golf because a family member is sick.
