I finally convinced some guys I play with to start playing some bets. We agreed on $1/hole wolf. How would the following results be paid out? I tracked the total number of bets won by each person for several games. We did not play pushes, so ties were just dropped.

Player A: 4
Player B: 2
Player C: 3
Player D: 3

Player A: 6
Player B: 3
Player C: 4
Player D: 5

Player A: 7
Player B: 4
Player C: 4
Player D: 7

On another note, what game would you guys recommend for experienced golfers who DON'T bet? I must have the tightest group of friends in the golfing world, but I just can't get these guys to play for money. I know for some of them it is a money issue, so low-value games would be good. For others I think it's just a fear of the unknown. Any recommendations of good, fun, and simple to understand games would be helpful.

Thanks!

too much to type but.... just the first match:

A:4
B:2
C:3
D:3

PlayerA:
collects 2 bets from playerB
collects 1 bet from PlayerC
collects 1 bet from PlayerD

PlayerB:
pays 2 bets to playerA
pays 1 bet to playerC
pays 1 bet to playerD

PlayerC:
pays 1 bet to playerA
collects 1 bet from playerB
smash with playerD

PlayerD:
pays 1 bet to playerA
collects 2 bets from playerB
smash with playerC

Thanks, I think that makes sense. Each player collects the bets from every other player (or pays them). I didn't know if since Wolf was a team bet, that the bets were $2 per hole (each loser pays one winner) or $4 per hole (each loser pays both winners).

We have each hole worth 1 point to each player if its played as teams...but if someone plays alone....they either win 3 or loose 3...carry-overs are awarded the same way.
