LOL, I watch a OLN Series Called Departures and they traveled to Georgetown, Ascension Island and they played some golf on what the site calls the most worse Course in the World!
Ascension island One Boat Golf Club
The 18-hole golf course at One Boat (about half way between Georgetown and Two Boats Village) offers a unique environment to play golf. The "Greens" are called "browns" and are made of crushed compacted lava smoothed flat with diesel oil and around the edges of the fairways can be found large boulders of volcanic rock. This can make for a very "interesting" game. The cost of playing this usually expensive game is very cheap compared to prices in other parts of the world. After your round of golf, the 19th hole (the clubhouse) can provide you with a refreshing drink (alcoholic or soft) in a friendly atmosphere.
hehe thought I would share this lol

I learned to play golf on sand greens - I'm not sure if they oiled them or not. We had a 5' or so wide pipe that we used to drag out a flat path to putt. We did call it golf back then (1960's in small town Missouri).

The brown greens are the same as the ones I played in ARAMCO in saudi. You play out in the desert and carry a piece of astroturf, if your ball lands within the boundary of the fairway you can use the astoturf. The greens were sand mixed with oil.

Worst?
You've never played ghetto golf at Chicago Park District Jackson Park course.
Kids will run across the course and steal your ball -- then try to sell it back to you several holes later.
A busy sidewalk runs about 15 yards behind a par 3 green with no fence.
Fairways are mostly clover
Not to mention that you have to stand at an intersection of a 4 lane street carrying a bag and wait for the light to turn so you can get to the next tee. That happens twice on this course.

LMAO! thats so funny, ya I think the worse course i have played is Called Eighteen Pastures Golf Course Mission, British Columbia it's pretty much an old Ski Hill that was converted. We couldnt continue without a cart after the 9th hole cause the terrain and slope is too crazy and the Carts were all used up! lol

I am not 100% sure of the name, but I think it was Lake Arbor around DC. Last year, at the end of the Summer I played there with my girlfriend and the fairways were in such bad condition that we lost balls in the middle of the fairway (couldn't find them, even though we both saw the ball landing there) and some of the greens ha more than 25% unplayable.
