Hey all
I am moving back to KC in July (yeah I know great time for golf in the mid-west) for grad school.
I would love to find some people to play with (or run and bike with if anyone is into tri's)
and/or some ideas for lower cost courses or practice areas
as full time school doesn't lend its self to much spare income

There's not shortage of golf courses here in KC. There are plenty of less expensive courses, and some that are very good. There are also plenty of private and country clubs depending on your budget. You can visit the following links to locate all the course information you're looking for:

Also check out lastminutegolfer.com for some great rates and reviews.Teequest.com also has discount rates, but the only one that will let you book a single is LMG.If you have any questions about courses just give me a shout as I have played alot through the sites mentioned above. If you need someone to play with let me know I don't get out as much as I used to as I have a toddler in the house but I usually play by myself and would like to meet someone new to play with.

Last minute golfer definitely has some great deals and there are some really good twilight deals around town if you look hard enough. I just cut some coupons out of the KC Star this morning for some rounds at Deer Creek and Ironhorse. I think now that the weather has finally turned here in KC the courses here will start to feel the pinch of the economy and will be running deals. I usually get out a few times a month, and am always looking for new people to play with. Welcome to town.
