Hey guys. I'm planning on purchasing Wednesday practice round "ground" tickets for the US Open this year at Winged Foot. Do practice round tickets at majors typically sell out or not really? Any advice would be great.

I've gone a couple of times -- always to at least one practice round and you will usually see folks along the road leading the course selling tickets. I guess it depends on the venue and surrounding demand, but in both cases, the tickets were going for less than face value.

You may have more demande in the WF area, but I would bet you'll be fine finding reasonably priced tickets near the site -- especially if you're like us and like to get to the course early.
