I am hoping to fulfill a lifelong ambition for my 40th brithday....by attending the Masters 2010.......

Practise rounds will do just fine & then off down to Florida's gulf coast with the kids for a holiday.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Check out Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro Ga. There is a Ritz Carlton there and world class golf courses to play. It is about an hour and fifteen minutes west of augusta. A bit pricey, but worth it. You can usually get tickets on the streets close to Augusta National.

Get there early and set a chair down behind the 12th tee box. I recomend starting at #18 green and walk the course backward you really get a feel how to play the course. Then head back to 12 and enjoy watching groups play 11 then 12. I hope you get to go! You can't get over how wonderful it is.
