Anyone know where i can buy one of those golf storage racks (not sure if rack is the right word), like the kinds pro shops will sometimes use to display wedges? - you know, those cubes with shelves on them that open on all sides. my club collection is getting a bit unwieldy, would like a neater way to store them in my garage.

I'm looking to store about 100 clubs in some way. I might buy 2-5 cheap staff bags and really stuff them, or I'll build something myself.

I'm thinking of buying some wood boards, perhaps 1x20x40 inch, drill 100 holes in them (diameter of a grip butt + a little), then take another one and drill 100 holes in the same places. Then put some type of spacers 3 inches high between those, put in some type of base, thinn wood beneath the lower one + add some type of angle to the display.

That should make a great display.

I think I would goto Home Depot and buy a nail gun and 2x4's....

You can draw this up pretty easy and get what you need.

go to a proshop or ask a rep, and ask for an old display. I just scored a nice callaway one, the rep told my course to throw them out

this is the easiest way for sure, also now that school is back in you can go to your local vo tec school and take a design in and have them made, free labor and you pay for just the material! You can get some pretty cool looking stuff if you get in with the teacher, have him "test" his students.

id definitely try ebay. i needed some of those clothes racks likes they have in department stores because of the amount of clothes i have, and thats where i got them. really nice, heavy-duty ones too, just like the ones in the stores. heres one that holds 36 wedges/irons for $40: http://cgi.ebay.com/36-Putter-Wedge-Golf-C...=item2a01baf6b7

Go to your local golf store and ask for an old rack. They may have something they are not using and would gladly sell it or just give it to you.
