In match play your opponent is walking and so are you. On a par 3 your opponent hitches a ride on the back of a power cart being used by the other twosome in the match to the green from the tee. Is this considered offering/taking assistance from another player? And is it a loss of hole?

Unless transportation is prohibited there's no problem.
