Anyone game a sun mountain swift x carry bag? Thinking of getting one but the fact it only has a 2 way divider kind of scares me. Do 14 clubs fit in there? Do clubs tangle easily? Its lightweight really appeals to me because I always carry and dont need a lot of storage or extra features in my bag. Let me know your experiences with this bag. Thanks good.gif

My club pro plays one, and I have looked closely at them. Looks like a great little bag. Basically a sunday bag with a stand. 2-way dividers actually work = well because the clubs all bunch together so they don't clack back and forth as you walk. I have a Titleist sunday bag with a smaller opening and it easily carries 14 clubs. Sorry I haven't taken one out on the course, but if you're looking for a very lightweight bag, they look pretty good.

LOVE this bag! I need a portable bag as I like to take my clubs home with me rather than let the bag boys at my club throw them around. Plus, they never clean them like I do. This bag is so compact and the stand works great. 14 CLUBS NO PROBLEM. I put the Mizzys on the bottom and the rest on the top. I walk but don't care for the strollers. I feel like there is less bag chatter with this bag compared to some 4 compartment bags I've owned. I always carry a towel with me so, I stuff part of it in the lower compartment and my irons don't bag around when I walk. This is the only walking bag I own now. I gave away the rest. Still keep the big Ping cart bag around the few times a year I cart it. Otherwise this is my go to bag. Sun mountain is quality. Don't cheep out this one was only 100 bucks. Friend of mine bought another brand of ultra-light and his zippers get stuck all the time and the thread is coming undone on some of the stitching. This is one sturdy ultra-light bag.

Is that more like what you were looking for?

I just bought ( Saturday morning from my pro) the Titleist "ultra lightweight stand bag" : http://www.titleist.com/accessories/carry_...lightweight.asp

It is clearly manufactured for Titleist by SunMountain and , apart from the strap system, it is very easy to see the resemblance to the SunMountain Swift bag: same overall weight [ 3.3 lbs]; same ball/bottle pocket , same two way divider that has you concerned, etc.

I have carried it for two 18 hole rounds this weekend and it seems fine. I think I would prefer the strap system on the Swift but the "back pack" harness on the Titleist bag does not bug me like I thought it might.

So, after only two rounds, it seems to be working fine. That said, this bag just "bumped" my Ping Moon-lite bag which is a brilliant little bag that weights only 2 lbs and holds just as many clubs.

Thanks for the replies guys! I will probably end up getting the swift. Club tangling was my main concern but does not seem to be an issue based on your experiences.

I own the Titleist version and it is a fantastic bag. I have way too many bags in general but I have been very pleased.
Another that I can speak highly of the Waterproof Sta-Dry Carry bag from Titleist. If you need a little more room it is a great bag
All the best

The Swift X looks like a neat little bag but for 1/2 lb. more you get a better set-up with the Three Five which is what I have. The top is bigger with a 6 way divider and there's more pockets. Sun Mountain makes a nice bag all the way around but I don't see the benefit with the Swift X when the Three Five is so close in weight.

Get the Zero G it weighs less and has 6 way full length divider
