I am considering purchasing a bag boy express 240 push cart online.
Can anybody evaluate this cart for me-ease of opening, ease of pushing up a hill, durability, etc?
Also, in the center of the handle appears to be a devise to attach an umbrella holder that would screw into it. The umbrella holder isn't included that attaches to this device. No listing of this type of holder on bag boy's website, or anywhere else. Do you have to purchase a special umbrella that screws into this device?
really appreciate your help.

Will be able to answer your question next week....just purchased an Express 240 from Golf Cow, and should take delivery on Friday... just to let you know....cost was $129.00 / free shipping....it was the best deal I could find, should you decide to go this route.

I paid the same myself.
I have one and really like it. It is the first push cart I have owned so I really dont have anything to compare it to but it pushes nicely without much effort. I do like how the handle adjust. I am 5'8" and have it on the low setting and fits me perfect. I put my skycaddie in my cup holder when I dont have a drink and it works out great. Easy to put your clubs on and off and fold up nicely to put in the trunk of your car.
You should enjoy it.

Played for the first time with a 3 wheel cart, my new Express 240 ---it is excellent!
Sorry I waited so long....
Easy to push, although I have to remember to push after pulling for so long...rolls very nicely, folds up well, neat little brake, good water bottle "hole", this was, as so many know and I learned....a great cart.

This is good to hear. I just ordered one for my pops yesterday before reading this . . . sounds like a winner.

You may also want to look at the new BagBoy Automatic. It opens and closes with one touch, and there are a few on ebay available for not much more than the Express 240. Golfsmith has them too, and there's a $50 off or $50 gift card promotion going on now I think.
I'm having a hard time embedding a video, but you can see how it works here on youtube and on the bagboy site. Also attractive because it seems like the sun mountain four5 should fit on it pretty good. (will confirm tonight.)

I used to own a bag boy express gt, in which the 3rd wheel(front) had to be installed.
I just purchased it on ebay from golfetail for about $110, 2 weeks ago, and after 4 rounds, it's fantastic. It's easier to push, assemble. Assemble is a 4 step process, that works effortlessly. The umbrella holder came with it. It also rolls farther when I give it a shove, then the express gt. The tires are slightly larger, and seem to roll better, especially up hills.
I highly recommend it, as I can't imagine how clicgear & sun mountain carts at $200 could be that much better.

Does this push cart have a place to hold tees and balls?
I'm wondering what's the most convenient place to carry these throughout the course...

Does anyone know how this holds a stand bag, I carry a callaway bag with the xtt system. Does anyone have any experience mixing the two?

I have a Bag Boy Express 240 also and I have a Taylormade TMX stand bag and it works great in it. The adjustable straps make it easy to put your bag on the cart. The bottom strap has a buckle and the tops has velcro for easy justifiability.
I think you would enjoy this cart.
