The other day, a guy named Matthew Galloway posted about his blog that he is going to start about his experience on the mini tours. I think this is a really interesting idea or topic to read about. Does anyone know of any others, I've always wanted to know what it was like, what they feel, go though, etc whether they are on mini tours or nationwide, or even guys who struggle on the PGA (I dont think I'd really care to read about those top players staying in the Ritz every week).

Matt Hansen's blog ( i hope i spelled it right )
He is a nationwide / PGA tour player with a great deal of game.....His blog is on the Stevinson Ranch Golf Club webpage.......That is one of the toughest tracks out there and he holds the course record with a 59 !!!!!

Luke Swilor has a blog. He does a pretty good job keeping it up to date as of the last time I checked, though it has been quite a while.

If anyone has any specific questions about life on tour, I'd be happy to answer them! I played the mini-tours for 10 years before getting my Nationwide Tour card in 2005 and having status through 2008. I did my own blog for friends and family from 2003 on and I've been tons of places, seen lots of courses, played very well, very badly and everywhere in between.
Cheers,
KGK

It was all done by e-mail. I don't think I kept all the copies as they went out. I'm in the process of cleaning out that e-mail account (had 209 pages!) and I'm going to see how many of them I have there. I wish now I had done them in a more formal and recorded way, but I didn't know at the time it would become anything at all. It just started as a way of letting sponsors know what I was up to and it grew to well over 200 followers. If I can put anything together that makes any kind of sense I'll pass it along.
Cheers,
Kevin

http://www.brianquackenbush.com/Brian did a very good job updating his page and it is still active but not with "current" posts. If you go back and read from the early years and follow it you will find that at the end in 07' a reality for many a good players also set in for Brian. This blog will cover almost all the ups and downs you want to hear. Brian fell back on a new career after making it to second stage a couple times and winning on some of the larger mini tours. Gives you a real idea at just HOW HARD it is to get to the top. I might have a few more players I know if I think about it.

Kevin be sure to let us know if you collect the emails back up. A blogspot account is simple to setup and an easy way to get the story out there
