wow! this movie just plain sucks.

what god did we anger to make the golf channel put this in their programming block twice tonight? did they run out of HAMMER (POW!) infomercials to put on a loop all night long?
GehenHerzog
its awful
dewnami
I thought about recording it, but then I forgot! LOL was it really that bad? Looks like I didnt miss much.
Boba
How did you guys not see that coming? The commercials looked terrible russian_roulette.gif

I apparently tivo'ed it. Wow. That was just sad. Really sad. I found out tonight that there CAN be too many jokes about balls.
Chattcatdaddy
I lost a lotta respect for TGC for that one. Its really bad, 2 hrs you will never get back bad!
eli_yates
really? i dunno i kind of liked it i mean what about the part where he hit those beer girls in the head with the golf ball and knocked them out... but then you could see the one girl looking up every now and again and driving? i dunno this movie was classy...

That movie was terrible. I can't believe someone actually put that out on the market.

It was just confusing...

So what happened with the guys tree business?

Why wasn't the other guy still pissed that his wife tried to screw his friend?

Why did the rich guy have a drinking problem?

Why did that green look like the worst piece of grass in north america?

Why is on scene was it snowing and not in any other?

Why was this movie even made!

It had no depth.
JA5ON
even the great Johnny Drama sucked and thats a feat I thought would never happen.

I love people who complain about how bad something on TV is/was. As if there aren't 500 other channels you could watch! :P

I didn't see it but I could imagine Johnny Drama dropping a 10 footer for the whole bet on 18 and letting out a big "Victory". I think I'll let that stick in my head and not watch it, as my tivo picked it up as well. Johnny Drama and golf, my tivo isn't intuitive to figure out that would suck.
scotto69
I watched two seconds and changed it. It sounded like a rip off of Dan Jenkin lines anyway.
FLAis4golferz
i decided to turn that movie on when i went to bed but i fell asleep in like 10 minutes of watching it. absolutely terrible
Tiger Jr.
There are people who watched this and expected it to be good? The only thing you needed to hear to know it was pure suckitude is "Kevin Dillon before Entourage".
keaney91
A real come-down after the movies of the previous two weeks, IMHO
asloper6001
Johnny Drama classic movie hahah
theinsider
I forgot that I had flipped it on and left the room with my wife in it who was doing some paperwork.

An hour later she walks into my office and proclaims "what the hell did you leave me with on the tv..that was the worse $%%^& movie I have ever seen."

Needless to say I'm taking her opinion and not bothering to catch a replay of what I missed!

Think of the goon who actually thought this movie was good enough to not only play but advertise. Questionable...

There was one funny part that hit home for me.....sneaking beer onto the course to drink at 7 a.m. I have had that exact same exchange with my golfing buddy... "Wanna beer?"...."Dude, it's 7:30 in the morning"....."it's cold"...."ok, i'll take a beer"
carogers1
It was very bad. I actually watched the whole thing though...sad but true.

It bothered me that none of them had any headcovers on their clubs at anytime...
IndyIN
IMO... it was better than 2 hours of infomercials or repeated programming.
bogeyk
It was so bad it was watchable. Iron shots with wood sound. The snow in some background shots but not others. The tee box with 3" grass. They had a 6:30 tee time and the course was out of carts. It was one of the least accurate movies(any movie not just golf) I have seen. Would I watch it again? Yes. Everyone slows down when passing an car accident.
phillypete
I got to give some credit to golf channel. The idea of doing golf related movies is a great. Stroke of Genius and Greatest Game Ever Played were nice, but the roster of golf themed movies isn't too deep. So its easy to see that not every weeks offering is going to be top notch.
Oldnavycdr
It was so bad I couldn't turn away. I kept thinking, "wow, this is really horrible, it is just amazing."
WhiteStripe
The best part is how it validates Johnny Drama's character in Entourage. Kevin Dillon must have a great therapist. Talk about being typecast as loser.

Jer-Jer
This one shouldn't have made the cut...

I know nothing about this movie, never even heard of it. But because of this, I'll have to look for it in the schedule.
Wormiez
Lol, I was thinking about the same thing "Johnny Dram Movie!"

What a waste of airtime. They might as played the infomercials or Caddyshack.
1641bill
Oh. The humanity...............Infomercials would be less painful. My tv wouldn't even watch it!
obsessedgolfer
It looks like the person who made this movie got all their knowledge about golf from watching 10 minutes of Happy Gilmore.
jdorsch
i loved the part about the 6:30am tee time and the course was out of carts. awesome!

it was so bad i kept turning back to it during the chicago-boston playoff game commercials. i thought i missed some stuff that made the movie make sense, but after reading all the posts i see that i did not miss a single thing.

oh, to be a rich guy, with a good golf game and a piece-of-as* hot wife AND have permanent birth control...oh the humanity! it would drive me to drink heavily..oh, wait i already do that.
