I just wore my Callaway HX tour shoes for the first time today but when I was cleaning them after the round I have a sweat stain line inside the shoe. Its leather all around the heal and side portion of the shoe. I rubbed it out a little with a damp soapy cloth but how do I clean this? all my other shoes have padded material inside them so these are my first all leather ones. anyone have any suggestions? It is on the inside but i'd rather not have them get worse.

The only way I know to clean them is to do what you did, mild soap and water. As for prolonged care you should invest in some cedar shoe trees, generally around 15 dollars. The shoetrees help to keep the shape of the shoes, but most importantly they absorb the moisture that is inside of the shoe because of your sweat. Ideally it is best to alternate two or more different pairs of shoes if you play a lot, to make sure that each has had a chance to dry up before using again.

But definitely get some cedar shoe trees, they will go a long way to improving the longevity of your shoe.

thanks for the reply. I have cedar shoe trees and alternate between 7 pair of shoes.
