Other than using an orthodic, is there a golf shoe with a high arch support? At this point, price doesnt matter.

Perhaps check the New Balance website. But, let me tell you, I have REALLY flat feet... To the point that it becomes painful to walk even 9 flat holes... I added Lynco L725 'Golf' orthotics to my golf shoes (remove the stock padding first) and I am walking 9 again. You can also use the L425 'sport' model, it's a little more cushiony.

I swear by these orthotics but they are about $60/pair retail (look on the bay for a deal). I wear them for work, golf, sneakers, everything. They make a big difference, IMO.

Here is their website (I hope this ok per the rules, forgive me if not) http://www.aetrex.com/html/lynco.shtml#sports

The plus for you is that you can keep your existing footwear. Hope this helps :-)

Be faithful to your stretching regimen to assist with getting rid of plantar fascitis, orthotics DO HELP though!

I suffer from plantar facitis too, and the best shoes I've found are the Footjoy Superlites. They have a nice slope where the heel is a little higher then normal which my doctor said helps, I also use superfeet insoles, but i've found that most high end insoles have worked well. Also keep with the stretching as some one else mentioned, it is the only way to get rid of it, shoes will just ease the pain.

Thanks for the advice. I bought a night splint today. I am having a hard time finding golf shoes that will have enough room for my feet and orthotics. Sucks getting old.

Footjoy Contour to the rescue. I have orthotics and only buy contours because they have enough room in the toe box, and you can remove the factory pad to put in your orthotics.

The ecco tech rep that came to our golf shop for a demo day told me that the ecco shoes are built around the tendon that is the root of plantar fasciitis so therefore they help to reduce the fatigue on that tendon, encouraging a more comfortable walk. Between the different models, the fit on the shoes vary. Their casual line is a little bit wider fit along with a softer feel. Their flexor line is more of a medium to wide fit that has more stability than the casual line. Then their classic shoes are a slightly narrower dress shoe type fit in which the newer styles have a very much improved sole that is better for stability. Plus they last for a very long time since they are a very well made shoe.
