I was wondering if I should enter a round for my handicap if I played on greens that had been punched/sanded a few hours before playing. I shot 95 and play off 9. Not that it'll really matter towards my cap I guess. Anyway, opions?

OK, entered it. It actually was an Esc 94 lol. Terrible round with high winds and plugged greens. I should have just gone and chipped/putted for an hour and half instead. Need to find my instructor before I do out again anyway, swing is 2way miss mess.

All round "count" towards your handicap, even if the score you entered isn't in the best 10, because you're rolling off the 21st score in your scoring history, which MIGHT be in your best 10.

And when the round you just entered rolls off, it may be replaced by a better score.

It will probably never affect your index. Odds are that it will be your highest score of the last 20 until it gets dropped.

Assuming you're "in season" where you're playing !!! (And in Rhode Island you may be marginal. Not sure when the season starts up there)
