that when Tiger and Phil were on the 17th green a "patron" (i use that term loosely) ran and did a swan dive into the bunker as both players were preparing to putt.
You have to wonder if that was a reason both Tiger and Phil missed their putts. Obviously Tiger's was the more difficult of the two and PHil had already missed an easy 4 footer on 15, but seeing something like that happen would have to be a bit unnerving.
CBS did a great job of not mentioning it and the cameras also did a nice job of not letting that idiot ruin a very exciting finish.

I dunno, I would have rather known about it - and have faldo talk about what a miserable person that guy must have been to do something like that, especially at Augusta of all places

Ha. Amazing the sort of stuff Augusta keeps under wraps. Wonder if North will be treated harshly by the club?

Really?
Wow! that would have been nice to know.
What a dick for doing that.

I wonder if the patron will be invited back next year.

If you read the story he said he lost his badge in the bunker. I guarantee if he didn't get his badge from a scalper he gave it to somebody else to hold so he wouldn't lose it forever.

They'll track the badge number back to whomever it belonged to and that person may lose their badge privileges. Unfair, but you take that risk when you let that person borrow it.
