Seriously...what is the value/perspective that this angry, "told you so," non-visual media person brings to the table. I don't get it.

agreed..always negative and no real perspective on the game. No matter how much we criticize them on Golfwrx, the best commentators are ALWAYS former champions ....PERIOD.

I've had enough perspective on the Masters, watching coverage of the rescue of the captain and the killing of the pirates.

Angel Cabrera was great today, nowhere near as good as the US Navy.

Hawkins is great, always adds a unique perspective and I generally like what he has to say. Not so much with Micelli, but he was spot on with his non-comparison of Harrington and Sergio.

Most all of these guys do a reasonable job and I like hearing from lots of different writer/reporters. I even like hearing the Euro perspective from the ex-Euro tour commissioner.

He reminds me of the talking head on the "sports reporters", comes across like a scorned sports writter who got beat up by the jocks in high school and was stuck writing about sports instead of playing them. And since when were they "his" masters?

On a side note....if you are going to show this guy that close on TV, please have his teeth fixed.

for years I thought he was one of the best reasons to pick up Golf World, but since he's been on the Golf Channel he seems desperate to be in the know or to have some sort of exclusive 'scoop'.

Some of the things he said on air about Phil last year were patently untrue. This leads me to think 2 things- he's doesn't have the access he thinks or claims he does to players and 2) he'd stoop to lying just to make good TV copy. WEAK, DUDE. Maybe the players feel the same way about the guy as some of the posters here.

I'm surprised by the negative comments. I love him and assumed everyone else did as well.
