Wow! I just checked the Scotty site and it seems that the 2009 Masters headcovers are still available. I thought due to the recent success and quick sellout of the St. Patricks day and Valentines day covers these would also be gone. I noticed the price is increased but that usually doesn't slow down too many collectors. Did they increase the production, or is the demand just dropping?

Each of the major productions equal to the year. So the 2009 series major covers will have 2009 covers.

Before this turns into another abyss of meaningless posts, the reason Scotty is charging $116, according to another forum, is because of materials. He's using leather instead of vinyl and used a super high stitch count. The usual cost is $72 and while I think that is super expensive, people are buying these things like crazy. I was actually able to buy a 2009 Hula via the public release and received a 1/100 topless. I sold it of course.
People will judge for no reason. You spend your money on what you want. If you want to pay $200-$300 on a Fubuki ION or a Whiteboard Flowerband, then so be it. If you want to pay $75-$125 on a headcover, go ahead. Ask anyone if they would spend $30+ on a Golfwrx membership to have a badge under their name, discounts, and chances at some great giveaways and they would probably say hell no. It's all relative to your interests.
