My son received a pair of the new Puma Swing Crown shoes and these are some of the best looking golf shoes I have seen. I have a pair of the Swing GTX shoes and love them. Stratton has a ton of the ConcordeGTX's and one pair of the Cee Cee's and now this pair. Nice leather uppers with the silver carbon fiber accents on the side makes these some styling shoes! I am truly jealous now. They look a lot better in person than pics I have seen on the web. Here are some pics I snapped

plenty of Puma fans on here, keep us posted with a review of them. I think these will be my next shoe

wow! those are impressive! what is the cost?
Deerslayer
I am not sure what they are going to retail for. I would bet they are going to be similar to the Swing GTX.

They are about $225 a pair from eprolinegolf.com and I think they are $275 on puma.com.

I am def going to get a pair after seeing those pics. Thanks Deerslayer.

Are these different than the Swing Crown GTX posted on eprolinegolf? Because the tongue looks different and so does the upper. Great looking shoe though.

these aren't available yet. Puma is going to release them some time this month

eprolinegolf will have them on April 15th. $250 for a pair thru them.

Trendy Golf also has them on their website now. $220 a pair.

hey, deerslayer, a bit off topic,, but i wanted to ask you about your re-painting of the cameron studio select headcovers.. mine is getting pretty faded do to the sun out here in cali.. how did you do yours???
steps anddetails would be greatly appreciated..
thx
Deerslayer
These are from Puma, so I am sorry but I don't know what e-proline has. I do know that I was more impressed with these in person than any of the pictures that I have seen on the web.

Dci, use full strength clorox and pour it over the dots and soak all the threads. Let it sit for an hour. After an hour, rinse THOROUGHLY. Dry the headcover completely.
Once it is dry, use Sharpie markers to re dye the threads. Let it wick outward when you get near the contrast stitching on the dots. Once complete, spray with a UV protection silicone type spray to protect from UV and to keep from fading.

Check out these Pumas's my son has been wearing for a little while. They are a model called Cee Cee which are made for women, BUT they look pretty cool if you have the right things to wear with them. They are also a great looking young persons shoe shok.gif Puma is putting out some AWESOME golf apparel.

these two pics are the only ones I have that show this pair good:

yo! thanks,, btw, what type of uv spray do you use? what's the name brand??
so you mean to tell me,,, all scotty headcovers are just sparpie ink?? lol
Deerslayer
No, they arent sharpie ink, but they would probably last longer if they were! LOL

The studio select covers threads bleach out, some headcovers threads are synthetic and will not bleach out at all. But then again, if they used more synthetic, they wouldn't fade. The UV spray I got was for boat covers. It is called Sun Armor by Gordon & Gordon. There are others too, by Krylon and a slew of other companies. It is basically a silicone spray with UV protection. Best thing is it makes your headcover completely water repellent, so in rain, your headcover wont get soaked possibly damaging your putter. I spray it on new covers too to protect them as well.

ok,, sorry to be so anal, but when i bleach,, does it matter if the other part of the cover gets bleach on it???? or do i need to bleach ONLY the threads?? i am planing on doing this today.yikes!!!
thanks again!!

Thanks for the 20% off link Deerslayer. I picked up a pair of them today from Puma.

$275 plus 20% so $220 - free shipping.

$30 cheaper than eprolinegolf.com. Puma has them in stock also, eproline doesn't.
