Does anyone have any pics from the Shell yesterday of Ryan Moores shoes?

They looked more suited for skateboarding than pro golf, I know he is trying to distinguish himself, but I wish he looked more professioanl and not so sloppy all the time. To each his own, JMO.

Atleast he's not wearing white pants, white belt, white shoes and a bright colored shirt like everyone else. I agree, not the most clean look, but hey, each to their own.
He's got tons of talent, I heard yesterday that he was sick during much of last year or something. I didn't like his shirt with a tie, that looked bad...

I thought it was cool. To each his own, especially since he has no sponsorship deals by choice. He can wear whatever the hell he wants imo. I wish some of the newer guys on here could have been around the forums back when Tiger started wearing collarless shirts. Christ you'd have thought he was unzipping on the greens and taking a leak before putting out.

They definitely cater to the younger and trendier population. I like them a lot and would wear them. And just an fyi I think the slip on vans are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I'd wear them as golf shoes.

I saw him walk by at the practice round on Tuesday (Shell Houston Open) and I saw him wearing those Pumas, dark colored pants, a track jacket and a military style hat. He looked like he just came from watching a movie or something the way he was dressed. I like his look though, and I like the fact that he's doing his own thing.
I didn't know they made those style Pumas w/ cleats on them. Kind of neat.

why all the ryan moore bashing on this forum? i like watching him play, and it seems like just because he doesn't have sponsers plastered all over him that he's an outcast? the kid has talent, & don't think he gets enough air time. good to see him playing well this week. i like those shoes, but it doesn't seem like they would get a lot of traction.

sorry to offend anyone i just thought they looked like bowling shoes. personal style aside i actually like him as a golfer. i hope he does well like all guys on tour.

Since my kid is big on skateboarding I guess I'm immune to the shoes at this point. I just can't get over the pants that are way to tight on a dude with a gut like that. Thing is, I really like Ryan Moore and think it's fine for him to try his own look, but somebody has to let him know he needs to drop about 20 lbs. if he's going to wear those pants.

Are people bashing Moore, or his clothing? (That's a rhetorical question.) If you want to take the way some people feel about his poor choice in clothes and extrapolate that they're bashing him as a person or talented golfer, then... Well, that's up to you.
Personally, I think he looks goofy out there, and I've never been in favor of applauding someone for being different when the "different" part just doesn't jive with my own tastes/sensibilities.
...But there's something for everyone on Tour, it seems, so you have to appreciate that.

That pic of him with the ties is terrible. Not the clothes but the fit. If you are gonna wear that stuff then you have to wear it right. I like Ryan my only problem is that I like that golf usually makes you dress the part and more and more we are getting away from looking nice.
