I like to walk but I'm getting too old to sling a bag over my shoulder. So i bought a speed cart V2 and an Ogio Exodus. Love the V2 and the Ogio is ok but I miss a stand bag at the practice areas and around the putting green, plus IMO a stand bag looks cooler. 2 part question, who has gamed a TMX and your opinion. Who has experience with the stand mechanisms and how they work with a push cart? Thanks.

I have one sitting within eyesight. It's a great looking bag that has a lot of functional pockets. The problem was that when on a cart, the stand mechanism would get jacked up a bit. I'd have to flatten the plastic on the bottom back out when I took it out. It's a very comfortable bag for carrying though. Bottom line is my clubs are now in a TMX cart bag as I almost always have my bag on a cart.

I have a TMX stand bag and a Sun Mountain push cart and I have no problems w/ the stand kicking out on me like last years Titleist bx86 (I think thats what it is), which would. I really like the TMX bag, definately the nicest looking stand bag I have seen yet. It looks like a mini staff bag, but w/ a stand. The nylon is woven so tight it kindsa looks like leather, and dust and mud wipes right off w/ a wet paper towel.

The only negative thing I can say is (not even really negative) it seems the clus dont slide in and out as easy as my old Titleist bag. Also when it stands straight up I think its shorter than my old Titleist bag also. Its not a big deal but if you dont have say a "sock like" headcovers your irons are going to slap your driver shaft. Like I said these are not big problems at all. I would definately recommend it.

I had the 2008 version with the 8-way divider. Never even used it and it only served to hold clubs until I traded it recently for a Titleist Premium stand bag which is great.

The TMX looks great (a little too flashy for me) but I just couldn't see myself using it on the course. The old 8-way divider was inconvenient as you could only fit two clubs per slot and even then it was a tight fit. They did improve it for '09 with a more functional 6-way divider top.

The stand mechanism and legs didn't seem very sturdy and would slide out on smoother surfaces. It also seemed it would easily blow over in the wind.

The bag is heavy (6.6lbs??) which isn't a big deal when using a push/pull cart but too heavy for someone who carries 90% of the time.

Pockets were minimal and small. I believe there were only 4 pockets and none of them seemed able to hold very much of anything except maybe the ball pocket.

Retail price is ridiculous at $200+ for a stand bag. You can probably find it for a little less but not much less than $170 which is still too much IMHO. I was fortunate to get it brand new at a significant discount so took the chance but it never even made it to the course before we happily parted ways.

It looks great and the material of the actual bag is impressive but the most important factor is functionality...which it had very little of IMO.

agreed on all points. I found it heavy, uncomfortable, difficult to balance and hard to get clubs in and out. I used mine for 3-4 rounds and sold it. went back to my titleist.

I'm currently using the bag right now, and I really like it. It looks nice, and my clubs fit fine. It took a little while for me to figure out how to organize them to where they slide in and out better. I've got compliments from friends I've been playing with, and they really like the way it looks. If fits pretty well on a cart, but not great.....it hasn't fallen off, so I think that is a good thing. The only down side is the white will get dirty eventually. What made this bag a better deal, was that I found it on ebay for much less than the retail price. I think it was 129 or 139, shipping included.

I agree it can be difficult to get all clubs in and out when the stand is out.

I got mine for $129

The dividers are what turned me off this bag otherwise it is one of the sexiest stand bags I have ever seen, but looking at the top is gross with those dividers.
